Life after people vs. cooking
After the 25 hour fast of Yom Kippur it’s time to cook for 4 days of non-stop eating (thats how we Jews roll), I decided to help out my in-laws a bit, who are graciously hosting us, by making a few dishes.
I really enjoy the History channel show “Life after People” which uses science and other facts to hypothesize how the world we have created for ourselves would fair without us.
I decided to watch this episode: “The Last Supper” while cooking…
All I can say, a show about rotting food, is NOT a good idea while cooking or eating, i.e “humans eat 2 pounds of insect parts that are located in food products each year…”
Maybe enjoy the show on the next fast day!
